News and Events
After over five years of fund raising and amazing support from so many in the Thursford community, the new toilet and kitchenette are now complete.
The toilet, fully fitted out for able bodied and disabled use, has been installed in the previous vestry and the kitchenette designed to fold away to become a church "chest" when not in use.
Sadly, Covid restrictions prevent events from currently taking place but a 'celebratory opening' will be planned in the future when conditions allow.
Thanks to everyone who braved the North Sea wind and rain to come along to the Caf é at the end of September. Thank you to the helpers and the special outside preserve display. Thank you to the Chapel Stewards for allowing us to use this delightful building. It was the first time since mid-March that it had been used. We were thrilled to raise £155.00 from the cafe, stall sales and donations plus gift aid. A great help for this very worthwhile charity.
Avid readers note that the Mobile Library returned on 9th
October. It should now visit every 4 weeks – note that you are required to wear a face mask.
